1. About these terms
These terms apply to all orders placed on mehndibyruqayya.co.uk. By ordering, you agree to them. I’m Ruqayya Aftab, a sole trader based in Birmingham. Contact: mehndibyruqayya@hotmail.com.

2. Orders and shipping dates
Henna cones are made in batches. Orders are made and posted according to the shipping dates, not the date you place your order. You must order before the deadline date to be included in that batch. Shipping dates are always in the mehndibyruqayya Instagram bio, is shown at the top of the website and checkout.

3. Postage
Orders are sent by [Royal Mail Tracked 24 / other]. Tracked 24 aims to deliver in 1-2 days but can take up to a week, so I recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm. If your parcel is delayed, contact me and I’ll help you chase it with Royal Mail.

4. Collection
Collection orders are ready on the shipping date or the day after, and you’ll get a notification when they’re ready through WhatsApp (collection from B8). I don’t freeze collection orders, so please collect promptly to avoid the cones spoiling. If you choose collection by mistake, you must either collect or pay the postage difference to have them shipped.

5. Storage
Please freeze your cones immediately on arrival. Freezer storage, not the fridge, keeps them usable. I can’t accept complaints about cones that weren’t frozen promptly.

6. Customisation and bulk orders
Custom tip or cone sizes may be possible for bulk orders of 25+. Message me before ordering. There is no minimum order for standard cones.

7. Cancellations and refunds
Henna cones are perishable and made fresh to order, so the 14-day cancellation right for online purchases doesn’t apply, and I can’t offer refunds for change of mind. This doesn’t affect your legal rights: if your order arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, contact me within [7] days with photos and I’ll replace or refund it.

8. Safe use
Cones contain natural henna and [essential oils]. Do a patch test before use, and don’t use them if you have a known allergy to any ingredient (ingredients are listed on [the product page]). Cones are for external use only. Stop using them if irritation occurs. Natural henna is orange to brown. Never use “black henna”, which can cause serious skin reactions.

9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or my responsibility for things I can’t legally exclude. Otherwise, my liability is limited to the value of your order.

10. Privacy
How I use your data is explained in my Privacy Policy.

11. Changes and law
I may update these terms, and the version at the time of your order applies. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
